We've got A's for your Q's

How will this benefit my child?

This time will be used to re-teach and review any tricky concepts introduced by a child's main teacher. It will also be used to pre-teach upcoming essential standards. This also each child's opportunity to firmly grasp a concept while instilling confidence.

What will be taught during each cohort session?

The teacher plans the content of each session around the needs of the students in that specific cohort. The teacher focuses on the essential standards (the most important ones at that grade level) in reading, writing and math.

When can we get started?

Right away! Once you register your child, they can start! We will administer your child's initial assessment before or within the first two weeks of their start date. There is a registration fee of $150 in which $100 goes towards your first month's tuition when you sign up with a cohort.

What is included in the initial assessment?

The initial assessment is a 50 - 60 minute session with your teacher. During this time, the teachers will administer Common Core Based assessments in reading, writing and math. After the assessment, you will receive a detailed summary and an audio recording of your student's strengths and recommendations.

Do you offer extra assignments or independent work?

Yes! If your student would benefit from extra assignments or tasks outside of the scheduled cohort time resources will be provided for you.

What if there isn't a listed time that works for my family?

Let us know what works best for you! We are always looking to add more cohorts and would love your input.

What materials does my child need?

You child will need access to some sort of device: Chromebook, iPad, laptop etc with Zoom capabilities. A student supply kit will be mailed to your child. Each kit comes equipped with various supplies that a child would normally have access to in the classroom, such as math manipulatives, academic charts and writing paper or notebooks.

What if we live in a different city?

Not a problem! Our cohorts are all online and built to support students all over the state. With the Common Core Standards at the core of each session, the lessons align with the grade level expectations across school districts.
